Fundraiser 2011

Our fundraiser in under way!  Your children should be coming home with their catalogs.  Any help you can give us with this will be most appreciated. We are asking each student to sell at least 5 items.  If he or she sells 10 or more, their choir t-shirt will be paid for.  They will also receive prizes from the company as well as Mr. Ward.

The kids had a great time today with Mr.Ward learning about the prizes available through the fundraiser and the pig races that will happen for those that sell at least 10 items.

All orders are due October 7th.  Orders and prizes should arrive before Thanksgiving.

Are You Ready!!!!!?????

I hope you all have had great summers and are ready for school.  I love summer, but it is always good to get back into school.  I am so thankful that I get to come to work with you all everyday.  I am very blessed to get to do something I love as my career. 

This summer some of our students went to choir camp at Roosevelt State Park.  Here are some pics and videos of their final concert.  I had a good time in my classes and seeing camp friends.  (I was a counselor last year.)

I hope many of you will want to go this next summer.

T-shirt for Musical We Haz Jazz

Here is the t-shirt we will be ordering for our musical.  The t-shirts need to be paid for by Monday, March 28th, for the students to receive one.  The students have already given me their sizes.  Thanks for your support.  I am looking forward to seeing it all finally come together. 

District Festival

I am so proud of our choir that went to 
District Festival February 23rd!  We received a rating of excellent which is a II.  Just a few more points for a superior.  We'll get it next year!  The choir learned so much from listening to other great choirs . 

Upcoming events:  We Haz Jazz 

Rehearsals will be March 1st, 3rd, 8th and 10th. 
Rehearsals on the 3rd and 10th will be from 3:30 to 4:30.
The rehearsal on the 1st and 8th will be from 1:30 to 3:30.

We will be ordering t-shirts to wear in the musical. Please
keep a look out for the order form coming home.

Parents, your students will be coming home with a letter tomorrow about District II Choral Festival. 
Please read it and let me know if you have any questions.  I am so proud of what they are doing.  We would also love to have some parents involved.  Please let me know if you are interested in traveling with us.
